Theoretically, if all that 2 TB's of music was purchased from iTunes, then the files all already exist in the iTunes servers and it would cost them no additional storage space to stream them back to you. So it may well be possible.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the official announcements are. I reserve any judgment until then.

If that is an iPhone 5, I will love my iPhone 4 even more.

also, you need to have a passkey and completed 10 WUs with your passkey before you'll get a bigadv unit
I got a passkey a couple of weeks ago and have it on all of the machines now. The mp has run through quite a few wu with the passkey by now.

On another note, if they need me to pay for streaming 'my own' content, then they can forget about it.
If they are going to stream all kinds of content, unlimited number of times, then $7, $10 and I'm happy.
But again, the basic service should be free.

Setting aside the question of no VM at all, has it occurred to anyone that having a restriction on running in a VM even on the licensed machine could put a damper on the idea of having Parallels (or VMWare) be able to start up off of the BootCamp partition? As that's an ability that I've been wanting, that's something that bothers me about this....

One thing that is buried in all of this is that Apple is FINALLY offering a magsafe airline power adaptor for their laptops, for $59.00. I have been doing a ton of cross-country flying recently, and carting two batteries to try to keep my laptop juiced up on the trip. I have waited for months for an in-flight power solution. Apple has finally come through with this! :D

Don't know if this has been posted elsewhere, but Apple's pc share has grown to 6.1% in the US; we trail by 0.3 percentage points for third place.
10% is in sight. Perhaps by the end of 2007!

:/ i've yet to see a blue screen from xp. i'm sure it's out there. but if you run sp2, xp is a pretty solid and reliable OS. zune won't beat the ipod, but it sure as hell won't fail.

I'm honestly surprised by a lot of you. The whole "no single android phone outsells the iPhone!" argument, is foolish and weak. It's a platform war.
How do you "win" a platform war?
Does Google win because they have so many devices running their Android OS? *Marketshare*
Or does Apple win because you have to buy their hardware in order to get iOS? *Profit*

this iPad-ness of Lion has me a bit worried. I don't want my interface looking like some cheap toy.
