I checked out Pages last year, but the lack of a thesaurus was a deal-breaker. The added wikipedia and google support is just a bonus for me - I'll be ordering this the day it's released.
bluebomberman - I'm working on a novel right now, and I've found that less is definitely more. All I need are a thesaurus, spellchecker, page numbering and find-and-replace. Anything else is just a distraction, but everyone has their own work style - that's just mine.

Any idea where the best place for a black 16 wifi would be? I think that's all I really need, no 3g and i'll only have apps, maybe a movie here or there when traveling, no? Brea is the closest to me but it sounds like a battlefield, i'd prefer a Best Buy since I have giftcards but my recent time spent there makes me feel like i'd rather spend the money in gift cards to not have to go there again.
Or just do what I did. Buy one of whatever they have, and trade for the 16 WiFi and cash.

That's kinda how I feel about this. Would have been great if we captured him (though that started to feel unrealistic, what, seven years ago?) but this was the inevitable outcome. Don't feel any real positive emotion out of it because of how long it took, and how the most damage of 9/11 came from our response in my opinion, but yay I guess? I don't believe he was very active in Al Qaeda anymore, and even if he was, he's an easy replacement.
I agree, however it'll still deal a great blow in moral to many of our enemies.

So the reason apple charges more is because??? Seems like google is a better deal.
1. Professional conferences cost that much.
2. Apple sends 1000 of their engineers that you can talk with. Who is Google sending? How accessible are they?
3. WWDC is more days.
Number 2 above is one of the reasons that it would be difficult to move to a larger venue. It might accommodate more people, but the real value is getting to talk with Apple engineers and ask questions. If they made the venue larger, your chances of getting to talk with them becomes slim. It's a tough problem to solve.

I would be greatly interested in this. Likely would not buy the first generation. It would aso depend on size and actual features. Ive been greatly disappointed in the revamp of the apple tv and am looking for apple to do more for my living room than this past pathetic attempt at ATV2.

True, but Skyfire has been around for a couple of years on other phones.
Like Opera Mobile, it's also an especially good solution for limited devices.

If you want to play numbers, the iPhone on Verizon (same carrier as thunderbolt) sold 2.2 million in two months, compared to a quarter million in one month for tbolt. Saying that equals 3million annually 1) makes it compete better with the iPhone over two months on a single carrier and 2) assumes that the numbers remain constant. Being that people are figuring out that the battery life is dreadful (and you forget that the majority of the market doesn't want to swap batteries like it's 1999) and that android phones have a short cycle of being the hottest new thing, I don't think there's a basis to assume consistent sales in line with their opening month. Numbers can say anything when there's no common sense behind it.
I mentioned these numbers to prove totally different point namely that there are plenty of people who want LTE. Also, HTC probably has ten or so smartphone models. If all of them were as successful as Thunderbolt HTC would already be ahead of Apple :D

Second, sure htc would be closer to apple sales if they had four products as strong as thunderbolt. But they don't so it's completely irrelevant.
Kenmore would have sales competing with apple if they had several phones as successful as the thunderbolt

I have to agree, the Video Refresh rate is also noticable compared from Parallels. The Mouse is more sluggish and it just doesn't give you the feel that Parallels does.
I didn't notice any difference from running 2 Cores either :(
It is only a Beta right now so maybe they will have everything up to par soon enough. :)
Atleast on their server products the Beta releases have very heavy debugging and logging running on the background non-stop. There is no way to turn it off (atleast simple way). The final release has better performance due to this...

I have alot of trust in VMWare. Don't know what the pricing will be, but I am 100% sure that by release it will be an extremly robust product with only a very small overhead (I consider Parallels to have a fairly large overhead). I use most of VmWares server products at work, and can't remember any of the (release) versions ever failing me. With this I'm talking about running around 40 virtual production servers 24x7 on 3 servers with only 2 service breaks per server during the last year (planned maintainance breaks for upgrades).
