We have the same notice date - 10/11 but my receipt date is 7/03. And I got my EAD on 10/26. They may be starting a system to process EAD/AP by receipt date. But still...who knows what they are doing it.

Rest all states should pass similiar law............
Is it for the strategy of getting all our members to take this law seriously when they are stopped by the cops and asked for papers? Unless something personally affects our members we are content in letting things happen around us........so if such laws were passed in many other states, it would definitely jolt us to action!!!!!!

Is there any NewJersey Based applicant who filed 140/485 after July 30th ..got transfered to TSC and got receipt?
My Cases is
I filed 140/485 on Aug 3rd at NSC. Did not received receipt yet.
I opened Service request on 11/6.. and today IO told me that my application must have been transfered to texas, as I am NJ applicant.
I worried , if my application is not lost somewhere.
If there is anybody in similar situation. Please respond.

but i read somewhere that its better to send chest X-Ray Report with I-693 so that USCIS will not get any excuse to send RFE in the future.

I am on Adv-Parole (with EAD) and planning to visit India in July 2010.
I know that UK and France require transit visa, but I was wondering whether I can fly via KLM (Amsterdam) OR Lufthansa (Frankfurt) without any transit visa ?

I also have a similar case of 2 485s . I have EB2 priority date of September 2005 and not yet approved. May be multiple A # make it complex. I am planning to take an infopass apppointment and talk to IO and inform that we have 2 A#. Let us know how your appointment goes

Can you guys give me sample job description that will qualify for EB2. He has 3 years of experience but that was acquired before obtaining the degrees.
Company is really flexible with job description.

I don't think it matters when the experience was acquired as long as it is related to the job description and it is verifiable. If for some reason those three years cannot be used, you can have a job requirement as something like MS in EE/CS + 0 years experience.

My wife and I were entered on AP lately and since I work for the same employer, I am still working on my H1 and am planning to extend my H1. My wife is working on EAD, can she still able to apply for H4 based on my H1? We want to have her H4 as a back-up!

Don't mean to pick on you but on the lighter side, El Paso is in US only :D. Things would be much easier if visa could be renewed in US itself.
Why not any of the consulates in Mexico ( Juarez, nogales, el paso etc). ...
