Some where I read that there is no fee for renewal of AP. I am a Jul 07 filer and am not sure about this. Further already applied last for Advance parole and travelled till it got expired last month. I am applying for a new one again. So just wanted to know if I need to pay the fees $305.
So my questions are:
Does the July 07 filers need to send the cheque for $305
Should we also include Biometric fee of $80?
And how much time is it taking these days for AP/

Hi,
I am on h4 visa now.It expires in Sep14,2011 .I have a company that wants to sponsor my H1 visa.the start date for the h1 visa would be 1st Oct,2011.
Does this mean that i will be out of status for Sep14-Sep30, will i have to file for my h4 renewal for that period.also,would it affect my new h1 petition.

Since it is a not for profit i will fall under the quota.
She can transfer to other not for profits. Transferring to other for profit companies is challenging as it has to be under the quota.

So let's have premium processing in all stages?
Wonderful, why not this suggestion:
Sell GCs for 30k each, or put up on auction.
30k is achievable goal for everyone if we save money for 6 years straight. Maybe live on bread and water or something but hey, after buying the GC, can get back to living normally!
I think the premium processing idea is just money milking strategies by the respective departments who process the different stages.

Hi .. I am on L1 with my current employer. I applied H1B through a consultancy and my petition got approved. My current employer told me that they can transfer my approved H1B to them. Is it really possible to transfer H1B to my current employer, just by having the approved petition?
Yes transfer is possible. However your current employer's h1b petition also
needs to be approved (RFEs replied to etc).

I was in the process of job change and the July fiasco happened and I was forced to stay with the company that filed my 485 (cannot change company for 6 months).

I wish that the closest strawberries, which happen to be the brightest ones that draw attention, could be in better focus. Using a smaller aperture would bring more of the berries into focus. Otherwise, I really like the photo. Good job! :cool:

My parents are going back to India in April'10 just before completion of their 6 months. But they want to come back again after 3 weeks. They have got their visa for 1 year. So they can stay another 4 months on their 2nd trip from May'10 to Aug'10.
Is it going to be a problem during their next visa stamping or immigration at airport as they will end up staying 10 months in US out of their 1 year approved visa ?
Please advise.

Recently an undated USCIS draft memorandum surfaced. The Memo was offering administrative relief options to promote family unity, foster economic growth, achieve significant process improvements, and reduce the threat of removal for certain individuals present in the United States without authorization. My wife have a birth certificate from the muncipality. The birth was registered soon after she was born and her parents named her before registration so there are no issues as far as late registration or "no name" is concerned. The only concern I have is that the birth certificate mentions only the first names of her and her mother although her father's full name is mentioned. Will this be a problem. The muncipalities in India register the birth in this manner, their explanation being that a child's full name is his/her first name followed by the father's full name. Similarly a married woman's full name is her first name followed by the husband's full name. I know this is not necessarily true in the USA. So I was wondering if this might be a problem.
Is there anyone in this forum who had a similar situation and their certificate worked?

The sharp and crisp look is the key here, IMHO, and the first shot has that advantage, despite having a slightly more washed out appearance. Of course, I suppose that it would be a fairly simple matter to make the first shot's contrast and saturation come closer to that of the second during RAW conversion.
